Hygiene, pressure and safe distribution

Plumbing · Heating · Building services
Renew plumbing and heating.
Planned as one system.
Water pipes, hot water, heating and heat distribution must suit the building. We assess the existing installation and coordinate its renewal with the associated building and specialist work.HOW YOUR BUILDING WORKS

How much do plumbing work and heating replacement cost?
The guide price depends on more than the appliance. Pipe routes, capacity, storage, electrical work, noise, heat distribution, permits and the existing structure determine the overall project.Plumbing repair
approx. CHF 400–2’500Diagnosis, accessible fitting, valve, trap or minor pipe repair
Water heater & hot water
approx. CHF 3’000–8’500Conventional cylinder or heat-pump water heater – depending on volume and connections
Air-to-water heat pump
approx. CHF 45’000–60’000Guidance for a detached house including installation and storage
Ground-source heat pump
approx. CHF 55’000–80’000Guidance including heat pump, storage, installation and a typical borehole
Prices as of August 2026. Non-binding guide prices including VAT for typical, readily accessible situations. Heat-pump figures are based on EnergieSchweiz guidance. Binding only after survey, sizing, permit review and written quotation. Subsidies have not been deducted.

ROOTED IN THE REGION
Plumbing and heating for projects in Switzerland.
From Lenzburg, Aarau and Baden to Zurich and the Basel region, we assess plumbing and heating projects in the context of each property. For retrofitting in existing buildings: Assess underfloor heating groove cutting and the floor build-up. More about the regions: Aargau, Zurich and Basel. What owners should know before repairs and heating replacement.
What should I do first if a pipe bursts or water leaks?+
Only shut off the main water supply if it is dry and safe to reach. Keep away from wet electrical installations. In the event of immediate danger to people, smoke, fire or water near electrical installations, call 118 or 112 as appropriate. An online report does not replace the public emergency services and does not confirm that a team will attend.
What precautions should I take if I smell gas?+
Do not operate electrical switches, doorbells, phones or lifts, and avoid flames and sparks. Warn others, leave the building and, once outside the danger area, call the fire brigade on 118 or the responsible gas supplier. If anyone feels unwell or is injured, call 144.
What does it cost to replace a heating system with a heat pump?+
For a detached house, EnergieSchweiz gives indicative costs of around CHF 45’000 to CHF 60’000 for an air-to-water heat pump and CHF 55’000 to CHF 80’000 for a brine-to-water heat pump, including installation and storage tank. The building, output, noise, drilling, electrical work and distribution system affect the actual price.
Which heat pump suits an older building?+
The key factors are heating demand, insulation standard, available space, noise conditions and the required flow temperature. Some radiators may be retained or adapted as needed. An automatic online selection therefore only indicates a possible approach; it does not replace specialist design.
Can underfloor heating be retrofitted?+
Yes. Depending on the floor build-up, wet systems, dry systems or milling may be suitable. Installation height, load-bearing capacity, substrate, doors, heating demand and flooring must be checked beforehand.
When must a subsidy application be submitted?+
Subsidy conditions vary by canton and system. Applications generally need to be submitted and approved before ordering or starting construction. We therefore do not automatically deduct a potential subsidy from the guide price during your personal consultation.
Why is my heating system losing pressure?+
Possible causes range from air in the system or an expansion vessel problem to a leaking pipe or safety fitting. Repeatedly topping up without investigating the cause is not a lasting solution; the installation and any displayed fault should be checked by a qualified professional.
Can I send photos and an error code in advance?+
Yes. You can submit up to eight photos in the emergency dialogue and during your personal consultation. Only photograph the identification plate, display, affected area and an overview if doing so does not expose you to danger.
