What does ‘5 years of building protection, free of charge’ mean?

For selected new-build projects, the agreed building protection is included for five years without additional premium costs for the client. Whether your project qualifies and which benefits are included will be confirmed in writing before the contract is concluded.

Does this cover every type of damage?

No. The insurance documents specify which damage is covered, when protection starts and which deductibles or exclusions apply. The offer does not provide blanket cover for every type of damage or construction work.

Does this also apply to a renovation or an existing house?

The offer is intended for selected new-build projects. For a renovation or an existing building, we discuss your options personally. The five free years do not apply automatically in these cases.

Are cleaning or gardening included?

Cleaning, gardening and ongoing home maintenance are part of SBG Service Plus and are agreed separately. A Service Plus subscription does not activate building protection.
