Smart Bau Group launches News & Building Knowledge for renovation and building services
Smart Bau Group is adding a dedicated editorial section to its website. News & Building Knowledge combines detailed guides, clearly labelled company announcements and selected project insights, with permanent article URLs, visible editorial responsibility and fixed rules for sources, imagery and corrections.
Why create a dedicated editorial section?
Service pages mainly explain what Smart Bau Group offers. Before a renovation, other questions arise: what does a quotation need, which decisions affect pipes, substrates or scheduling, and where does general guidance end and a site survey become necessary? These subjects need more room than a brief service description.
News & Building Knowledge therefore addresses these questions in separate articles. Each has a permanent address and remains findable in the knowledge section. Readers can explore a topic, move to related services and open the project check directly when they have a specific situation.
Three formats are visibly distinguished
Company announcements serve a different purpose from technical guides. Smart Bau Group therefore labels each format directly above the title. Announcements describe company developments; guides explain recurring planning issues. Project reports may contain only claims supported by their documentation.
The distinction also applies to structured data and news sitemaps. Only a genuine new company or industry development is classified as NewsArticle. Evergreen explanations use BlogPosting, so a guide is not artificially presented as breaking news.
The focus is work on existing buildings
Topics follow Smart Bau Group’s focus: renovation, refurbishment, bathrooms, kitchens, flooring, interiors and building services in existing properties. They concentrate on interfaces clients should understand early, such as demolition and substrates, plumbing and waterproofing, or furniture planning and electrical connections.
Articles should help a concrete decision, rather than repeat as many search terms as possible. If costs, standards or technical solutions depend on the property, that limitation is stated explicitly. General information replaces neither an on-site visit nor specialist assessment.
Project images need traceable provenance
The editorial section uses only approved project photographs from the SBG album. Source file and checksum are recorded before publication. Customer names, addresses or other identifying details must not be carried over from image data or accompanying text.
An image can illustrate a technical relationship without proving who designed or built the project. Captions therefore distinguish project-specific documentation from thematic photographs. If a reliable attribution is missing, none is invented.
Publication and corrections remain verifiable
Every article visibly states its title, publication date and time and responsible editorial team. Canonical URL, article type, main image and publication data are also machine-readable. The standard sitemap index includes all articles; a separate news sitemap includes only genuine announcements within Google’s short eligible window. An RSS feed provides the latest posts.
Material errors are corrected. An update date appears only after substantive content changes. Readers can send notices to the address on the editorial page. News & Building Knowledge launches on this basis; further articles will be published only when topic, facts and images meet the rules.
